I say it sometimes, and find it particularly sidesplitting, but I have no idea where it came from.
I asked how you spell it... I said I was positive that it was "homes" and (I think it was you) that asked some OG cholo how to spell it and he said "holmes". I think it was either you or me that busted the "hoLmes" combo..... I thought it was me that first put the emphasis on the L because I didn't think it should be there, but now that I think about it I'm not sure.... coulda been you..... hmmm...
of course there is SALMA HAYEK! SALMA HAYEK! SALMA HAYEK! that is obligatory every time somebody shows up that we were just talking about... I dont remember who did that first either.
Soul Purfloat started "I'm Josh" as an inside joke, but everybody thought they were talking about shadow. Then Josh became a word for everything there for a while. I remember a post (maybe by marco?) that was something like "Question about selling your Josh (you know, records?)"....
For a while there was something about "stuck up east coast rap producers" or something like that, but I dont remember the exact phrase. It was directed towards Soul Purpose again (i think) and I think it came from somebody in Texas. High-C maybe?
