Best deals: Roundtrip from Bay Area to New York

I'm starting to plan a weeklong trip to NYC this June for my birthday. Will probably bring a friend or two with me. I want to order my tickets early in January but I'm looking for good deals on round-trip tickets. So far $278 is the best I've found on Orbitz. Any recommendations?

    That's pretty good - you might try Jet Blue but I doubt the can beat that. The lowest I've seen is around $250 so $278 is pretty solid.

    try expedia too.

    also, fly on thursdays and tuesdays - it's cheaper.




    I bought my Xmas SF-BOS r/t tickets on SONG airlines (through expedia) for around $300 back in Sept.... NYC might be a bit cheaper than BOS, I dunno...
