its the holiday season, and every one is spending time with family, etc. and with family gatherings, comes board game extravaganzas! whats the favorites?

my mom gave me this for my birthday when i was younger, it was used or something, anyone ever play this ??? they want you to drink a whole bunch of maple syrup or ketchup, its weird.
With the Knights expansion
For those who don't know, it's kind of like that computer game Civilization. You basically collect resources to build cities and settlements. However, everytime you play the game it's different since the board is randomized. As well, there is a heavy emphasis on trading resources during everyone's turn. Aliances are made and broken[/b].
Have you seen the other games this company made, they're all ment to look like fine volumes in your library. So classy.
My homie and I tried to play this shit recently, but we couldnt get it going.

Yes, it's the Up Your Nose With A Rubber Hose game! There are little cardboard cut outs of each character and the winner actually gets a rubber hose!

I play with my roommates at least once a week, yet we all still suck.
We are lame. 75% of the time its in a bar, but that doesn't make it ok.
