Leroy Hutson - Love Oh Love (white border, sorry Drewn)

My palms just broke out in a light coating of sweat.

You can help me out with that Smith Connection, though...

Funny story, I was sitting at the Thanksgiving dinner table with my aunt who I've never talked to about music. I tell her that I collect records and she says, "Do you have any Leroy Hutson? There's one that I really want to hear again that used to be my favorite, 'Love Oh Love'"

"AHHH! That's the one I NEED!" I almost broke down and cried in my plate full of fried corn, stuffing and greens.

    Back to thread topic:

    The Meters - Rejuvenation

Gil Scott-Heron - Winter In America (upgrade double)

Jackson 5 - ABC (because I didn't have it already, sue me)

Got a super-cheap OG of this one. It is better than I expected. Really groovy latin soul jazz with vibes, flute, nice drums - tremelo, echo...dope.
Someone should buy the $6 OG b-i-n on eBay (nocollusion)

Also got the Eddie Kendricks[/b] self-titled on Tamla, 1973 - I never have had a copy of this one, and it is of course really good. Really nice 1st press, too, on some heavy-ass vinyl for 1973.

Oh, and I bought this off eBay, but from a store down the street from me, I saw it was ending in like 10 minutes with no bids, so I bid and went down and picked it up. Nice mint promo OG, $15 and no shipping:

is this a full length LP? If so whats it like?

It's a 12 inch single from 1984 (one side is a remix, the other is the original LP version). I heard a snippet of it online a while ago and liked it a ton...kinda boogie-ish if I remember correctly. Haven't had a chance to listen to my copy yet.

From what I've read, it does not feature Leroy Burgess on vocals.
