the flip is Rapple no?? and the synths are INSANE!!!!! honestly i've never listened to the rap side i just assumed rapple was the instro to big apple rappin.
there's a couple versions of this 12"... the one i have has the INSTRO to aint no stopping us now on the flip.. that's anything BUT comdedy if you ask me.

The instrumental flip is the only reason I kept the record. Saving it for when I get on the wedding circuit
one of my favorites, bobby mann body rocking rap was already mentioned,
other tracks I like are
gangster rock by little starsky
jamming on the one by don juan & k dog (it's one of the best disco raps around, the mc's got flow up the wa-zoo and there's a lovely nasty x rated version)
super jake by gary davis and his professor
mostly instrumental but a real good one is boogie beat by uno
Last but not least is the education wrap by community people, the rap is only so and so but the groove is real fresh.
I could go on and on. I plan on doing a mix of this stuff soon...
Please do go on and on because a couple of those were new to me.
I've been planning to do one for a while myself but never manage to get around to it because it seems like by and large people just have no interest in that era and style of rap, even on scenes where there's a huge amount of stylistic crossover, e.g., disco and boogie.
some good posts the last few days. I love the Miffflin Ensemble, Mr Fox & Golden Voice records.
Couple others I've had on heavy rotation lately
Fly Guy - Fly Guy Rap (Land of Hits)
Abidjan City Breakers - ACB Rap (Disco Stock)
Stanley Shaw - Groovy Beat (Reality Hits)
Sweet G - Boogie Feelin Rap (Queen Constance)
Marvelous Three & the Younger Generation - Rappin All Over (Brass Records)
Chapter Three - Real Rocking Groove (Grand Groove)
Chapter Three on Grand Groove are actually the same guys that did the Mix Master 12" on Shevones, even have some of the rhymes from Mix Master on the Real Rocking Groove 12"
Excellent list by Dee Roc, do go on and on
That Mike T do it anyway you wanna is hot. I'm just guessing but is the groove based on that atmosfear joint?

Big cosine on this. In fact, I think it's the best of the genre. Something about the gonzo lyrics just goes perfectly with the production.

Spider Rap is up there, and there's 3 or 4 records with that same backing track. And at least one foreign cover that I have heard.
I made a mix last month... none of the tracks have been mentioned yet I don't think so here goes.
Got stuff like this on it.

Speaking of disco records with rapping on them, anyone know what's been edited here?
It's been stuck in my head solid for about a year and I would love to hear the original.
