Summer Breeze by the Isley Bros. rules too.

Out of curiosity, who originally sang 'summer breeze'?

  • Hugo Montenegro, though not soul, has an interesting record called "Rocket Man" on RCA which is mostly all Elton John covers with some pretty funky, electronic moments.

Speaking of Rocky Racoon, I really like the version of it on Skye by Szabo and soem singer, god I can't remember the other name on the cover but it's purple.

Lee Moses' version of California Dreaming on Maple is a favorite of mine as well.
