    still tippin was more like a showcase for the world that texas got flow, but their swagger on that shit is like "we been doin this for years."

    I'm a bit shocked that Ms. Damn is voting for Still Tippin' (knowing how much you love hard driving fast and crazy guitar shredd, Ms. Damn). Still Tippin' is almost a languid bluesy outing compared to the rough and tumble Hutch strings of Stay Fly. It's like comparing blues to metal. Both originate from the same "local scene/local sound" homegrown mentality.



    I agree that Stay Fly has the upper hand though with the HPC legacy whereas Still Tippin' was made for Houston with the UGK Diamonds & Wood attitude. Apples to Oranges.
