Journey. My first big show (ouside of performing with ABBA when I was 10). Escape tour in 7th grade. My aunt's boyfriend was the band's friend and coke dealer. Got backstage, chilled with Neil Schon and Steve Perry. Great show, great autographed poster. Later my aunt's boyfriend served a little time.

  • Steve Perry is god. listen to "lights" and then tell me otherwise.

  • Definitely Journey. peace, 'Check . . .

I have been an out of the closet Journey head since they were called Golden Gate Rhythm section. Boston? ehhh... fuckwads put out 3 records in 30 years, though their debut is 7th grade all over again.

  • don't stop believin'....journey. peace, pres.

  • Having experienced both of these bands first-hand, I vote Boston.

More than a feeling, Peace, 'ners.....

Boston S/T over any single Journey album. Foreplay/Long Time kills it on classic rock radio. But, yes, Steve Perry has the golden voice.

  • Journey. All eras, even the Randy Jackson cheap spandex-era.

Okay, maybe not Raised On Radio[/b].

I find it funny that the replacement for Steve Perry is a guy also named Steve. At least Steve Smith was smart and went into jazz.

Get The Fuck Out Of Here graelmin request!

These bands were for people who did 10th grade a coupla times on the trot.

  • Journey all day. Tom Scholz was a one-trick pony and all Boston songs sound the same.

BONUS ROUND: Anyone here own a Rockman?
