mellotron funk

checking out the instro to Chairman of the Board "Morning Glory" and hearing the mellotron made me think that there isnt a whole lot of soul/funk with mellotron in it. Or maybe there are some obvious ones I am not thinking of right off the the top of my head. Anyone know any mellotron soul/funk jams?

    the funk 45 prince geno and the tailormades - brand new man with the master plan has mellotron. thats the only one i can think of right now. great great song!

    is that chairman of the board on some lp? i want to check it out

    Herbie Hancock used one on his Sextant album. Whether you want to consider that funky or not is up to you.

    I dont know if it is on LP or not. I have it on a 45. Its the flip to "everybody party all night"

    Yes, it's on the "Skin I'm In" LP, which I believes features the playing of some members of Parliament.
