    That???s a toss up for me because they are such different albums. Layers has such an organized and succinct feeling to it, while Invitation to Openness is really free flowing. It depends on what sort of mood I am in really, but more often I find my self listening to Layers.

    2nd movement is my favourite mccann Lp I heard 'till now.....but I still didn't have the chanche to listen to layers.....same for invitation....

    2nd movement is far from the best album by les.

    i'd say invitation sold better, cuz i see it everywhere. Layers is far superior IMO
