    i've seen all those except that leo smith. what is that one like ? looks like some old leon thomas type jazz yoddling vibe.

    bugged out trumpet space jazz, with tons of open hits for samples on drums bass etc etc, 3 tracks 1 is a whole 21 minute journey to abstract land...

    got some nice moments & did i mention samples?

    nah, trumpet, flugelhorn, steel-o-phone, gongs, flute, bass, sax, vibraharp etc etc... now that i listened to it again it has some nice moments...

    i've just now "discovered" ecm. breaking out some ecm releases lately that are real good listens:

    michael naura-vanessa
    pepe mote/julian priester-love love
    julian priester-marine intrusion
    eberhard weber-yellow fields

    lots of sampelable moments.

    lots of ecm shit has samples, i usually just pull all the hits or whatever in folder & slang the rekidz... a clean drum is a clean drum...
