"Baby U Nasty" 12" Pressing Defect???

Hi,Just got a mint condition copy of "Baby You Nasty" by Lord Finesse. Put it on the table & from the second the music starts there's this crazy hissing noise that pops up every 2 seconds. I checked my needles & all the other stuff. Everythings fine. Anybody experience this problem with their copies? This stinks. The record is immaculate.Thanksh

    Hi,

    The seller is a cool guy & has offered me a refund - i was wondering if this is a defect common to copies of this 12"? Its so clean & not warped.

    my copy isn't like that, and the japanese reissue isn't like that either!!!

    The record was sealed when I got it, and I only opened to verify OG.
    It wasn't hard to talk me into it, because the shrink looked a little
    suspicious to me. But the record was new and unplayed!
    The hole was cherry and still had small flecks of plastic across the opening.
    I wish I had done scans now but it was never necessary.
    I never played it, so didn't hear the defect.
    It must be something in the press.
