Yeah! it helps.
I didn't find their discography on the net, so if nobody know where I can find it, we gonna have to make it.
They're from Charles County, Maryland
First(?) single: "It's A Trip" / "Keep Off The Grass" in 1973
"Funky Music is The Thing" 1974
Both locally released (DC area)

funkymusicisthething.wav
:::
Then they signed to A-Bet and released "Key To My Happiness" and "Precious Woman", this last one was never issued...
Informations found in the liner notes of a CD compilation called "Funky Tales" compiled by A. Croasdell for Ace Records. CDSEWD 111_Made in UK_1996.

The song is "It's A TRAP" as in, "a trap to set you back."

Dunno if this helps, but..
I have a 45 on "Zimmy" out of Kingston credited to "The Jamaican Trio" but seems just to be the Dynamic Corvettes. The A side is Funky Music, and it is the Corvettes. B side is "Quiller"
