A*d*ew, I gotta admit I'm surprised to see you going off on Timmy T like this - I can understand you not digging the Casio shit he had the hits with, but I would think his Goldwax stuff would be right up your alley. I really like the cover of the Animals' "It's My Life" he did for them. Personally, I like his later stuff, too, although it can be hard to listen to an entire album of that same proto-synth beat...but "Why Can't We Live Together" with "Funky Me" on the flip is one of the best "hit" funk 45's ever - and available for a quarter at any record store in North America!
DOPE....just picked this up today (OG thrift), and about time too, I really dig this sound, nice and open just Timmy and his organ (not hammond), the last track Funky Me is stupid FREEESH!
