Not much disco at the beginning LOL, plenty of soul & funk

    @22:00 Courtial - Losing You

the track after is real nice.

Couldn’t agree more with both your first and last sentence.

The bassline reminds me of Sylvia Striplin's You Can't Turn Me Away.

The tune before Courtial is Afrodisia “Sugar Free”

    I hope that helps!

It also reminded me a bit of Ayers productions.

Anyway, it turns out that my question for a track list was one of those embarrassing examples of me not knowing my own record collection. I do not own a single original of these but seven out of nine re-issues. One track, I can't identify.

    0:00 Anubis - Anubis

2:20 Johnnie & Joe - Help Me Brother

4:55 Apple And Three Oranges - Love Brings Out The Best Of You

    6:50 ??? - ??? (“She’s Gone”)

10:25 Key & Cleary - What It Takes To Live

    14:10 Sha-La-La - Mixed Feeling

    17:35 Afrodisia  - Sugar Free

22:38 Courtial With Errol Knowles - Losing You

25:45 Pure Essence - Wake Up

Great music needs to be identified. I should have known that Apple & 3 Oranges. Had it playing in my car a while ago.

Stumbled upon this thread only now so the missing track has probably been identified by now.

    But still ...
