I am not about to defy the genre power of psychedelic thai surf funk instrumentals. You'd have to really be fucking up to not be at least listenable with that mad lib of influences.
I wanted to see them live last year in Los Angeles but the show was sold out before I thought about buying tickets. I enjoy that sound and like minded bands such as Dengue Fever and Tremolo Beer Gut.

Caught them live here in Miami last weekend. They we're really dope broke out into a nice cover section mid set which included hiphop instrumentals and led into Chris Isaak's "Wicked Games". They ended up djing my homies taco shop afterwards. Selections were top notch, lots of disco heaters. Heard they got their start as a church band.
