    I really wish some of the non-Fogerty songs on Mardi Gras were really good, but I can't go that far.

    Examples where the 'other guy' is better than the bands regular lead singer?

    If Robbie Robinson was the Bands lead singer then I would say Levon Helm was better.

    Some said that Flo Ballard was a better singer than Diana Ross. I never heard evidence of that. (I think her one lead is on the Sings Sam Cooke lp.)

    Was Gram Parsons better than McGuinn?
