Sorry... most of not all of my picks fall under the sub-genre "West Coast" AOR which is an incredibly smooth amalgam of jazz, rock, disco, R&B, etc mostly enjoyed by grown ups. I agree that Alessi cut is pushing it... but their later albums were less "poppy" and aimed at the AOR crowd with Christopher Cross as the producer.
