I have always like this guys raps whenever i have heard him but never really checked his music.

What is a good starting point album in this guys overwhelming discography?

Pretty sure headz will let you know. Copped this CD recently. Beats are knockin'. But I don't remember a single line of his raps.

If you want to start with some of his older stuff, I recommend In a Major Way 1995

Less dated material I'd say Ghetto Report Card Or Revenue Retrievin': Day Shift/Night Shift

The Mail Man and In A Major Way were his old school classics... I really fuck with Grit & Grind as far as the proto-hyphy shit. He's got loosies on every single one of his albums though.

Just ran across this. I remember having this on VHS, think I taped it off of Rap City.

Looking back... E-40... not a fan. Tone moving all over the place. Nah.

Captain Save a Hoe was the first E-40 song I heard, in '94. Immediately went and picked up The Mail Man offa that and have been a huge fan of 40-Water ever since.

Great suggestions above - and I haven't heard that Click tape, Cai!

I appreciate the levity E-40 brings to the game.
