Found this Leah Kunkel LP over the weekend... Mama Cass's sister. Lots of session greats and Toto crew on this.

    This track is that napalm:

    That is noice.

Her voice reminds me of a few people... touch of Karen Carpenter in some places.

(all part of a secret plan to convince all the johnny-come-lately-timmy-dig-a-lots that AOR is hip and where the quality is at and that way they lay off of the ever dwindling supplies of the real heat still left out there.)

oy, vey! these business models are getting absurd. so they send subsrcibers an unspecified amount of random records every month? the lack of information and detail is telling....

have any of these new fangled, crowd-funded apps designed to "revolutionize" record collecting ever turned a profit or been a success on any kind of level?

apparently they got 36 grand via kickstarter to start their business...the shop in Venice feels like a mix of a bang & olufsen store plus the vinyl section of Urban Outfitters...I'm getting old...

I think the record game has gotten so overpriced. There's literally no bargains to be had so i've been buying a lot of smooth/AOR/yacht rock over the last year or two. It's affordable (bar a few pieces) and I genuinely love the music. Win win

Thanks for putting me up on so many new ones, especially Raj

    Here's a French winner:

You know Michael Jackson sang on that Bill Wolfer album? Wolfer played keys on 'Billie Jean'...

I want that record so bad.

I have the Byrne and Barnes joint from 81. It is fire.

I am super impressed with your knowledge Raj. You need to do a mix of this!
