Immature, I know...but over the years I've heard a fuck load of terms for weed and some are incredibly regional. I'm not even referring to the strains.
In my experience, I've heard two different classes of slang. One type of slang is simply what people call weed in that area and the other type of slang is "a name we are giving to this weed to try and make this low-mid grade shit sound cooler and thus charge more"....
Ok...in no particular order here are some that come to mind at the moment.

THats a new one....but it's exactly the type of shit I was hoping to learn about.
I definitely heard 'nuff John Blaze alliterations in MD.

Yes....lemme tell you about the first time I heard the term AZ (weed related not 'The Firm'-r). I was a stupid lil 17 year old who was waiting for a connecting greyhound bus in Richmond VA at like fucking 1AM in the morning. I was so srestless and bored that I thought it would be a fantastic idea to try and cop some bud from anyone willing...I ended up buying from a dude who kept describing his product like so: "This shit is that AZ...that Arizona bud..." this made no sense to me then, and it makes less sense to me every year....but I said 'fuggit'...copped a bag of the laziest dumb'bud I've ever smoked and patiently waited for the next bus to Germantown MD...literally haven't heard the term since 1998 but I will forever look skeptically upon anyone who uses that term regarding that boom....
