Smooth Music Documentary (Yacht Rock/AM Gold-Related)?

Is anybody aware of a feature length documentary on either a collective or individual artist within the Yacht Rock pantheon?

Ot the West-Coast session/studio scene? Porcaro/Graydon/Gadd/Rainey/Purdie/Toto etc

I have seen:

- Classic Albums; Steely Dan 'Aja'
- Down The Rhodes (Fender Rhodes doc featuring many smooth acts)

The Yacht Rock comedy series is actually quite educational but i'm interesting in something without any (intentional) lolZ

Thanks

I've been obsessed with AOR / West Coast recently (to the point where I might even do a mix!?). There's nothing out there that I can think of documentary-style.

Lots of blogs and Youtube channels, though, with much deeper joints than the usually Steely Dan / Toto fare.

This dude has all the bangers:

  • I'm not too knowledgeable, but my homie in DC recently dropped this mix.

Sad to see nobody knows of any...

Anyone up on Bill LaBounty's S/T from 1982?

Unbelievable songwriting on there, and the list of session musicians is like a hall of fame
