Of all the acts mentioned above, I won't lord it over anyone by naming how many I've seen multiple times
How's man gonna do me like that?
B/w c'mon son, floss!
[(I was even once in a band that opened for one of them.

Well, since you asked...
The Clash: six times
Buzzcocks: four times
Joy Division: three times
The Fall: three times (Witch Trials/Dragnet/Slates era)
Pere Ubu: twice (Mayo Thompson era)
Ian Dury & the Blockheads: twice (once with the o.g. line-up, once with Wilko Johnson)
One each for the the o.g Ramones line-up, Lizzy (c. Johnny The Fox) and Queen before Bohemian Rhapsody blew up.
An old band of mine opened for the Fall c. Dragnet. Marc Riley was still with them then. I was introduced to him by a mate at a gig in Manchester a year or so later, and he remembered the name of our band. Mark E. Smith was surprisingly friendly - even back then he had a rep for being a narky bastard - but that might have been because I knew a couple of lads who used to roadie for them.

Ok these easily beat my 16xDamned & motorhead recollections
Trouble with Zep by 78....
Page started wearing skinny dark tie and suit jacket w/ shorter hair in response to punk/new wave
I mean, you want Zep in full silken Zoso flared jumpsuit mode with unruly hair down to the nips, and Plant on the Coverdale blonde rock god steeze, no?
Comments
