    In reading this obit, I learned that Bobby Womack married Sam Cooke's widow, who then left him after she found out he was having an affair with her teenage daughter. WOW. I had no idea.

    She didn't so much leave him as pull a gun on him so technically he did the leaving ... and a year later Cecil married the daughter. Happy families.

    Some people think he took unknown Sam Cooke and passed them off as his.
