Just decided to do a duet disc for friends to go with a calender.
12 themes:
Passive Aggressive
Good Evil
Real Surreal
Naked Clothed
Forward Backward
Love & Happiness
Consonance and Dissonance
Exile & Refuge
Knit & Tag
Expose Shelter
Original Derivative
Line & Plane

Some weird themes for music, and some things will have to be forced.

So we can just make this a post up your favorite duet thread.

I have only thought of 2 so far:
I'll Go Crazy Evie Cassidy and Charles Brown
Jackson Cash and Carter

Something by Ravi Shankar & Yehudi Menuhin?
Marvin Gaye and ?
Holiday and Young?

There should be millions of great duets, but the genre is overrun with forced couplings of stars who had little interest in artistic collaboration.

    I figure since you like the soulies and the difference between old are like from the renuassance and new art like surrealism you could do.

    Otis Redding & Carla Thomas : Tramp
    My fave is "Stop On By", the Womack cover by Chaka and Tony Maiden. The live version kills it.

    Vicki Anderson (Momie-O) And Bobby Byrd's cover of You're Welcome...is nice as well.
