I'm focusing on going backwards now.

I just watched Hammer close the American Music Awards doing Gangnam Style with PSY and didn't hate it.

I can almost "ride" with anything at this point.

I thought they all left, rendering The Strut a dystopian wasteland? I bet the grass is always greener...

  • i liked dennis coffey more when he stuck to guitar playing.

His vocal stylings are a little hard to take... as is his tone. The voice is the biggest obstacle for me - lack of soul/depth-related.

  • holy boz skaggs batman bet this guy does a killer version of lowdown

The music video really doesn't do these guys any favours. The singer has a Kermit-like quality to his voice. Musically, it's okay, but it's really just a kit off of some software, right?

    Painful.

  • so, who is brave enough to defend this dreck?

The reason all those dance remix dudes keep getting work is because the best of them can make silk purses out of tracks like this, and it sounds as if that's just what this tune needs.

The song sounds like a half-formed attempt at writing to a jam band's idea of an acid house track. The guy's voice is mannered to the point where it becomes kind of irritating. Not as irritating, however, as those random 303 phrases. The whole thing sounds as if it can't make up its mind what it wants to be.

This dude is from my city and is incredibly talented. This track, yeah i don't know. Sounds like he was sucked in by the whole Gayngs crew doing electro hall and oats moves.

Judging by the sound at 0:27, I'd say 'Put out of its misery.'

ok, not to harp on this guy but this is just fucking awful, how the hell does shit even get this far down the line? it's like a terrible barry white parody done by a wedding band but the guy is completely sincere. straight garbation.

Jeezus, you share the same barber.

Rock is infinitely cooler than this dude.

I randomly stumbled upon my wife watching the voice and saw this dude and was like "is that the same guy from soulstrut?"

    Indeed it is.

And it all makes sense now.

I was flipping through the channels and saw this dude on The Voice and immediately thought....

"Holy shit, Doc Kupka from Tower Of Power has a kid singing on TV!".

Man looks like they rescued him from a dumpster and shovelled him into the nearest charity-shop trolley-dash.

    S-NAGL-tooth...
