what are some 70s Motown full lengths which were lost in the shuffle at the time but hold up great today?

Scatman Crothers' Big Ben Sings is a killer, too. This kind of jump blues was a stone anachronism for 1973.
so 70s Motown is only for old people like us or what?

Crazy this was brought up. I watched a couple of Barbara McNair movies last night and read an article about her this morning. Now I bet it will be the first record that stares me in the face the next time I go shopping. It always works that way, it seems.
