WHUT IT DO, BATCHES? So ready for football right now. Post your team name so we know who's who. Also, I think we should up the ante to $50 this year or some equivalent in rackords. Thoughts?

Thank you J**tin for starting this thread!

I agree a 50 dollar bill or Popsike equivalent in preferred Record Genre of the winners should be the prize.

This is Soul Strut's 6th annual Fantasy Football Challenge believe it or not and I am most stoked to be a part of it.

My team this year is The Greg Olsen Twins.

We are still waiting on one more registrant to complete the league. Edulus??? where ya @!?

    BTW:

Draft Date is September 4th at 9:30 PM EDT.

    AUTO DRAFT IS SOFT BATCH!

Murray will get injured as he has every single season since he went to Oklahoma.

Romo was the one who really looked like the real deal.

Cowboy fans already knew Romo is the real deal.

The rest of the country thinks he's a choke artist....go look at his career 4th quarter stats!

He was a Top 3 QB last year surrounded by mediocre crap.

  • I have way too much kicker, not enough receiver or qb. Any one lacking in the kicker dept, that has interesting trade possibilities?

A kicker isn't going to get you much. You don't seem to hard up on WR though.

Why would anyone trade a WR (or anything) for a kicker?

They wouldn't. I bet there's someone in this league right now who'd be willing to trade for a TE though.

I'm hoping this injury means Wes Welker sees the ball more.

It probably will for the short term. Returning O coordinator McDaniels appears to be moving toward a balanced run/pass attack with a heavy emphasis on tight-end targets and screen plays this year. That would indicate significantly fewer targets for Welker this year, but the loss of Hernandez should ameliorate the decrease in targets in the short term. I don't think Welker will end up top 5 among receivers this year, though.

Fuck it then, I'll keep my damn kickers!
