The year is 2002, and this is a feature from London TV programme 'Nightlife', with contributors Keb Darge and Jazzman Gerald. Plus the New Mastersounds.
It's a bit blunt due to the fact that the intended audience has just got back from the pub on a Friday night and is possibly eating a takeaway curry. Enjoy!

Keb Darge should review more things on TV; "It's a load of pish", "My verdict? Utter shite"

Ah, I forgot about that program. Wow. It's been a decade.

However, the low price it has repeatedly achieved on ebay and Discogs in recent years is undervaluing it as (a) the tune is good and (b) the original version has still not been reissued or comp'ed as far as I know because Eddie is holding the right to the recording. Buy it when you see it cheap.
