Or liquor if that's the way he rolled.

My dad drank Old Milwaukee or Rolling Rock. Yuck.

Nice I almost bought a case of that the other day but went Rolling Rock which is HORRIBLE. I got a sweet Strohs racing jacket.

My dad used to make his own beer from kits. It was rocket fuel. The kitchen always smelled like a brewery (I guess because it was). As teenagers, two pints of it would get you there, no problemo. He used to get through 3 or 4 every night and then cycle to work at 6AM.

Strangely, he's diabetic these last 10 years or so, so has to drink a lot less. Plus, the Supermarkets can bang out slabs of John Smith's for less than it would cost him to make it now.

  • Southern Comfort and weed was my step dads M.O, we were raided many times when I was a kid for cultivation.

My natural father drank urrythang til he went down for armed robbery and spent 5 years in jail. Since then he hasn't touched a drop.

I don't speak to either of them, straight losers.

I didn't grow up with my dad, and my moms taste ran towards wine, but I definitely inherited my taste for Miller High Life and Old Grand Dad from my grandmother. She always had some of those little pony sized bottles of Miller in the fridge for me to steal.

Every day when my dad got home from work my dad mixed up a gin martini on the rocks with an olive. I'm not sure if he had a favorite brew, I remember him drinking Lucky Lager and Coors in the can with the two buttons you had to push in to open it. He smoked L&Ms; that killed him at 46.

For real. I wouldn't even drink it when I was a teenager. Maybe that's why he had it around.

to this day I still recall my pops trying to espouse the qualities of Keystone Light to my redneck neighbor who only drank Bud Light.

He's stepped up a little to Sam Adams these days, but he will still put down some boxed wine (WITH ICE!!!!) from time to time.

    still love the guy.

I am quite familiar with Beer. I lived near the brewery and quite a few cases of it "fell off the back of the truck" during my high school years.

    My pops, however, exclusively drank
