On a stormy day that prevented President Bush from visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, he said "it would sure be helpful" if Congress would pass the air pollution proposal he calls "Clear Skies" legislation.

A bad weather system moving through the Southeast caused the president to cancel his Earth Day trip to the popular but polluted park, and he made his comments during a quick stop at a Tennessee airport.

The legislation is Bush's top environmental priority, and would give power plants, factories and refineries more time to reduce their air pollution.[/b]

    "We didn't create the Earth...." What an asshole. Dude makes one of his soooooooo bad notajoke comments and then even plugs creationsism. Hey dumbass God made it rain on you so you couldn't travel to a polluted forest and claim every thing is dandy.

    Us destroying the enviornment for money is like rape.....there is nothing you can do about it so you should just lay back and enjoy it.
