I went to driving school after I got my license--just for the hell of it I guess. I pretty much already knew how to drive (from trial and error) but it may have helped a little.
Grandpops in the old tan Escort, behind The Village shopping center, with all my cousins in the backseat, in Gary, IN. Good times. So good in fact, that when he sold the car, before my youngest cousins were of age to get behind the wheel and learn, they threw serious fits about it. Everyone learned on that thing.
I'd recommend going to driving school, but you should prepare a bit before hand.

Word. You can learn how to drive just by, well, driving. But if nothing else, driving school can teach youthe shit you need to know to pass the written license test.
My driver's ed instructor slanged coke. At least that's what the rumor was. I don't know too many driving schools that have Infinitis for teaching cars or instructors who make a habit of having students drive them to shady-looking houses in the cut, park in front, and wait 10 minutes with the car idling while the instructor goes inside said house.
this makes me think of one of my guys experience taken his license test. He didnt have a car or an adult to drive wit him so he borrowed sum ones car and jus drove it to the test without a license. however, on his way to the test he hit a parked cop car and since he didnt have a license he left the scene, so he got to his test and started it. it was goin fine but then the cops spotted his license plate number and he got pulled over. he didnt get his license that day
I practiced some with my friends and my dad. I was resistant to getting my license though, I didn't get it until I was about done with HS.
But actually the only reason I got it was because I knew I was going to be moving somewhere with no public transportation... it was bad, because I didn't really know how to drive very well to begin with, my first car was a stick (which I also didn't know how to drive), and... well, you get the picture.

Agreed, and try not to hit any cars in the DMV parking lot.
