Girl Group legends the Dixiecups on NPR this morning talking about Katrina, music and shit. THey of course lost everything. Apparently they are still performing and need work. So if your aunt and uncle are renewing their vows in the near future, The Dixiecups would be happy to sing "Chapel of Love" for them. Also interesting account of how IKO IKO got made in the studio. Potential heatrock fundage for these NOLA legends? BTW the Neville Bros sister, Athelgra, is now in the group. Big up Calliope Projects.
