    BE is my favorite song off that album, seriously when the beat drops it gives em chills(kinda like how the T.R.O.Y horns do)

    that part when the beat drops out and it's just the word "be" echoed and w/shitty piano has got to be the cheeziest 10 seconds in rap music history.

    see I also agree that vocal effect was lame. not to mention the other lame vocal shit on the rest of common's album (i.e. the kids saying what kind of job they want when they become grown and the whole 'be' breakdown part is laame)...

    but when the beats drops, it still makes me smile.
