I left for my Paris vacation on the day that the storm hit the south, and watched the heartbreaking news nightly. All I can really say as a complete outsider is this... the difference between BBC news and CNN is just crazy. I understand fully the concept of a moral boost... but given the situation, the utter disregard for human life and ultra-classist approach to dealing with this whole mess is just enough to make anyone wanna take up arms. My heart goes out to anyone who has been directly affected by this, and wish them a swift recorvery for a better tomorrow. Ugh.
