I heartily endorse this man's octogenarian electro revivalism. I also like that the tune isn't just a pastiche of its own genre but gets some other influences in there
I'm not sure if the link I posted is for the playlist with all tracks or just that one. At any rate, it's all along those lines, like a brazilian jazzed out version of Daft Punk's Get Lucky Zapp & Roger's Dance Floor
The opening organ felt afrobeaty to me, then the bassline was a bit (dare I say it) Thriller, but the overall effect wasn't too "check out how retro we're being" especially considering the retro era they're throwing back to is more recent than what dad's best known for.
Gonna definitely check out the whole album now, I didn't realize...
