    i'm heart broken
    i made it a point to see her every chance i got since 1997 and brought everyone in my circle to see her 
    i feel really luck that she was local
    there is no one even close

    I went to see her live at Central Park a while back, I remember about two hours into her show I was completely exhausted but she kept going for what felt like another full hour. It was straight up  :


    this news sucks, but I am grateful for the chance of having seen her perform and, more importantly, that she got to have the career she had so late in her life

    I posted a picture here in '05 I think of me & her in the studio when we were working on a project. I've since lost it when my hd crashed. If anyone can bring it up or knows how to find please do i'd love to have it

    Damn shame, she had a lot more music in her.. Thankful for what she gave. I was lucky to see her a handful of times and caught her this summer. She still had more energy than your average person and she was really hopeful about her condition. Hurts.. fuck 2016
