I am thinking of grabbing tickets to see Kool and the Gang with Morris Day and the Time today. Has anyone seen any shows from this tour? Are they still throwing down a live party? How much of the O.G line up is still intact. What about Morris? How's he holding up these days. Any input is much appreciated. I am just trying to figure out if this is worth the ticket price. Thanks.

I saw The Time & Kool & The Gang play on the Freemont in Vegas, new year's 2000. Thing was, there were two stages on opposite ends of the block, and both bands played 2 sets each at the same time. So the choice was once each or one of them twice. So fuck Kool on some Celebrate tip... it was 2 x The Time. Fuckin rocked. All original members, including Jerome. Mr Day still has it, just ask the 27 girls lined up on the stage by end of show.

Saw Morris & The Time play last summer in NYC - did a loud, high energy set..dude is a great performer.

Damn, I really would like to see The Time; but that's not worth 45 $ to see them in an old folks casino.
