I've never heard a cover of this either so I can't contribute one but I'm wonderin': Has anyone dared to try and cover it?

    not to my knowledge and it's probably for the best. that song is sui generis and the phillipe wynne scat is, perhaps, his crowing achievement on record.

    I'm starting to think I never should have aksed! I guess that song is unfuckwithable. I've played it in a million DJ sets and I've been wondering if I could find a worthy variation. Looks like probly not.
