The League of Gentlemen has been cracking me up lately. I have been sleeping on this series. This is the best, darkest comedy you can imagine IMO. Had me glued to the screen. Someone seen the movie yet? It has a very good score too and killer theme music. Was it aired in the States? Probably heavily censored

Check out the Xmas special from a couple of years back.

When I had satellite a few years back, Friday nights on BBC America were non stop dark comedy. League of Gents, Alan Partridge, Dennis Pennis, Fast Show, Young Ones... then after 9/11 it's like there was some move to go all wishy washy PBS with Keeping Up Appearances, As Time Goes By, and all that CRAP. Such a shame, but I guess it's all available on DVD anyway.

I'd like to know how many of you US fellas appreciate the ABSOLUTE GENIUS of Blackadder's 2,3 and 4? I've been watching the repeats (again) on satellite/cable, and in my opinion it is the finest programme to grace our television sets.
