Me & a friend saw some kind of low-flying shooting star that was like a massive sparkler - closest thing to a UFO I've ever seen, but would guess it had to be a weird natural phenomena rather than a shit, directionless, on-fire space craft piloted by midgets.
Ozzie tourists approaching when I was stranded between Laos & Thailand with no money to enter either country due to my own stupidity (thought they accpeted traveller's cheques at the border).
Sunset over Angkor Wat.
Sunset on the Mississippi delta - ground was so flat you think you can detect the curvature of the earth, and the sky was so big the sunset was illuminating the puffy clouds from horizon to horizon with every colour of the rainbow. As we were driving we were between the bandwidth limit of two different radio stations from different areas, so there was a crazy soundclash going on as well.
