Who plays nylon string guitar on Willie West and Lee Dorsey?

Universal DJ Sect dropped this Willie West song with a great nylon string guitar at the Night Owl Record Show Saturday.
Same band, maybe recorded same day, as Lee Dorsey's Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky.
I am guessing it is not Leo Nocentelli.

Can't find the Willie West tune on youtube.

Night Owl was great. Plenty of strutters there. Bobtheorange set up for the first time and caused a little sensation. I couldn't get over there, but Mr Delmont pulled some killer stuff out of his dollar bins.

  • Was the Wiilie West tune "Fairchild"? Always assumed it was the Meters.

    Thanks

So you think it is Leo on guitar?

  • I know zigaboo's snare when I hear it...so I assume it's Leo

I hear the drums too. That was never in doubt. I think Porter is pretty distinctive there too.

But I have only ever heard that guitar on the above mentioned Dorsey ETIDGBF.
Seems to me those cats were capable of playing with other musicians. Nothing about the guitar sounds like Leo to me. I'm not saying it's not him, but I need something more than it's his band and they worked on 100s of Toussaint sessions.

Vincent Toussaint, Allen's brother, plays guitar on some sessions.
But I can't find an example of his playing to isolate.
