what are some 70s Motown full lengths which were lost in the shuffle at the time but hold up great today?

    Reuben Howell's Rings LP is decent white soul from Muscle Shoals.

    Scatman Crothers' Big Ben Sings is a killer, too. This kind of jump blues was a stone anachronism for 1973.

    Temptations "Solid Rock" stands as the greatest soul/ psych Motown album ever!

    Crazy this was brought up. I watched a couple of Barbara McNair movies last night and read an article about her this morning. Now I bet it will be the first record that stares me in the face the next time I go shopping. It always works that way, it seems.
