Hello. I???ve been on soul strut for a while, but I don???t really post so I never introduced myself. Well, here is a little bit about me:
My name is Dep-TDB. I???m 23 years old and I live in Hollister, CA. I???ve been collecting records for about 5 years. My father was a drummer so naturally I grew up playing the drums. I started making beats on keyboards when I was 12, started rapping when I was 14, and switched to sampling when I was 17. I had my first DJ gig a few weeks ago (it was my little brother???s wedding. I think I did a good job, but I was drunk). I used to listen strictly to hip-hop, but since I started digging I find myself listening to it a lot less. I still attempt to make it, though. Nowadays I keep my ears open to many genres and artists and I look forward to talking about music on here.
