Macbook Pro Battery Question...

I need a new battery for my old 15" Macbook Pro. I can buy it through the apple store for $129 or through amazon for $18. The latter is obviously not an official Apple product but does it matter? Both batteries received horrible reviews in the comments by the way.

Did you battery 'expand?'

If the energy trickles out of the battery then the chemistry spoils and the batteries expand.

I'd sell it.

I had to google that. My battery didn't expand but it just doesn't hold a charge very well anymore.
