Check. I recently watched the one on Zapp, that was one of the best in my book. Have they done one on Linda Jones or Donny Hathaway yet?

I've been falling off on my Unsung viewing lately. There's a pseudo-Unsung-type show that runs on the same network. I forget the name, but one Monday night I tuned in to see this other show in the Unsung slot. I thought the show had gotten moved around; even though it didn't, I've only sporadically watched the show since then.

However, I think Sly Stone is too high-profile for a show like this.

I've only seen a couple of these, and while I like the choice of artists, the ones I've seen (DeBarge & Kane) seem to be a bit of a biog until about half way through, then the second half seems to be a dramatic focus on their respective falls from grace, and I'd rather see something a bit more straight/objective.

I saw the Sylvers one over the weekend. I liked the Soul Train footage but it gets into that fall-from-grace trap mentioned above

The Fall from Grace "trap" is what the whole show is based on.

Folks that had some heat and lost it for various reasons.
You still get great interviews and background stories within that format.
