i have been listening to this song a lot lately. who does the scat vocals that starts with the line "ants in my pants and i need to dance"? i thought at first it was gary but maybe someone can clear that up. thanks

    I haven't dug deep enough into the albums, but I do have singles from the Sugarhill and Cotillion LPs. They're not really all that memorable.

    I seem to remember the liners to one Spinners comp describing Wynne's three albums (the third was on Uncle Jam) as "eccentric," or something along those lines. The two 45s I own sound like standard, regulation "modern soul," to me.

    I had the one on Uncle Jam - didn't do much for me and I purged, but this was years ago.
