Chorus with chicken scratch guitar accompaniment, from a split LP with the Iowa Stage Band on Compatible.

2. Carlisle High School Mixed Chorus: Both Sides Now (c. 1970)
Lovely, innocent vocals on this Joni tune, on the Artist's label.

3. Cayuga's Waiters: Games People Play (1977)
Rich Cornell snobs Wonder Bread up the great Spinners tune "They Just Can't Stop It" on their private Straight Break LP.

4. The Children of the Universe: He Ain???t Heavy??? (197?)
Charmingly na??ve Hollies rendition, from a Rosedale, NY christian school private entitled Eschaton.

5. The Connection: I Just Want to Celebrate (1972)
Groovy organ cover on Four Most, almost pop psych.

6. Fairfax High School Marimba Band: Classical Gas (1970?)
Yes, marimbas; solid LP actually, on Mark.

7. Friends: Melvin (1973)
Interesting jazz number from the private Latitudes 1972???73 LP out of Pennsylvania's Montgomery County Community College.

8. The Gowana Chorus: R.O.C.K. in the USA (1988)
Clifton Park, NY middle school rocks Johnny Cougar, from the local Spectrasound label/recording studio.

9. Hart High Chieftans Stage Band: Night Coach (1970)
From the Road to Reno LP on Century, this Santa Clarita Valley outfit swings a peppy jazz number.

10. The Heartbeats: California Dreamin??? (1968)
Live amateur sounds from the mega-raer Summer of Service double LP on RPC.

11. The Infinite Realm: Teach Your Children (1973)
Xian barbershop quartet vibes from their Sounds of Infinity on Jewel, out of Bedford, KY.

12. The Lake Forest High School Jazz Band: Barn Burner (1975)
Chicago suburb kids do a fine job on this Les Hooper tune; from In Concert on United Sound.

13. Lance Elko: Improvisational Guitar Interludes (1971)
These are short pieces sprinkled throughout the Inklings LP on Century that I've edited together; out of Eastern Baptist College in St. Davids, PA.

14. Listen Close: I Shall Be Released (196?)
Singalong Dylan cover from a Vermont xian school LP on RPC.

15. The Loogootee Bands: Man with the Golden Arm (1967)
Slinky Elmer Bernstein crime jazz from their In Concert LP on Century, out of Indiana.

16. M.H. Stanley Intermediate School: B.S. (1977?)
Clunky Lafayette, CA rockers (reminds me of Thin White Rope!), on the Location Recording Service custom label.
