-Hello-
Over the weekend found an LP by The Mallory-Hall Band entitled "The Last Special"-1975 IRC Records. The LP was recorded/released in South Africa & the 12 members backed vocalist Lovelace Watkins on a South African tour. The band is led by (American) guitarist Charles Mallory & has great backing players like saxists/flutists Rudolph Johnson-Marshall Royal-Herman Riley, trumpeter Billy Brooks, trombonist Al Hall, & keyboardist Kirk Lightsey. The 4 tracks are "The Last Special", "Blue Mabone (Blue Light)", "Abafu (Clouds)", & "Princess Of Joh'Burg" & the music is spiritual jazz/funk w/a slight African influence-great LP. I have seen a lot of records in my life & am stumped-also just one other LP byt the band is on the internet on some blog. Photos are below & any info on rarity, value, etc.

Thanx,
SK
