man i love Any Bey's vocals, after a friend introduced me to him a few years ago. how is that sheit with him and his sisters? his voice is priceless, and if it was accompanied by some chicks that could sing as well, i think i'd be in aural heaven. anyone posses these albums? recommended or not? i'l have to amazon that sheit.

I don't know - I've owned two of Bey's albums and I just couldn't really hang with either. I think it's an acquired taste - I like vocal LPs but this just never came together for me. His "Experience and Judgement" album is pretty raw but the Bey Sisters' LPs are on that funky/soul tip.

Horace Silver recorded the United States of Mind trilogy with Andy and Salome Bay for Blue Note in 1970.
I like the Total Response / Phase 2 the most of them.

Mid 60s major label jazz, as I recall.

salome has a few records in canada which are quite common. she still performs from time to time, and it was once my goal to get her on a track. I'd still like to.
